Is The T-Rex The Bad Guy?

Question from one of my listeners:

Is the T-Rex truly the meanest baddest, dinosaur that existed, or is he just getting a bad rap?

My Answer:

My answer is a T-Rex is an apex predator. Apex means nothing else is afraid of it. T-Rex had a strong bite force. It was a killing machine, but it probably didn't run around trying to kill everything it saw.
